a moment

I'm at my familys farmhouse in rural NH. Dirt road, no tv, no radio, wood stoves, no toilet (just an outhouse) , and we only got running water within the last ten years.

And yet, I am here on my iPhone completely connected to the web and world right now. With only a marginal edge network connection, I am blasting through google reader, sharing like I always do. I just watched obamas address video, read all about the Mumbai attacks, my dad checked his eBay account, and I even watched a video of some dude showing off how you can move a chickens body back and forth but the head will always stay perfectly still. (pretty much the definition of fucking around online)

I'm blown away by right now about how real the wireless world really is. A transcendental tech moment to remember.
